How to Start Saving

You can start saving in the 401(k) plan on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment, if you are 18 or older.

You can invest from 2% to 75% of your regular earnings on a pre-tax basis, to the IRS limits.
Update your contributions at any time on netbenefits.com. Visit the IRS website for 2027 contribution limits.

Sunland Asphalt matches $0.50 for every dollar you contribute, up to 6% of your annual salary.
Contribute 6% of your earnings to receive a full 3% match.

You are fully vested in your own contributions immediately.
You are fully vested in Company contributions after 3 years.

Spend your 401(k) money when you retire.
You are taxed (or not) based on the types of contributions you made.

Make sure your 401(k) earnings go where you intend if you die. Assign a beneficiary through your Fidelity account and update anytime.
